Cub Scouts runs on parent power. Every campout, pinewood derby, badge ceremony, and den and pack meeting happens because a parent (or grandparent, aunt, uncle, or family friend!) said "yes" to helping out.

Here's the truth: you don't need to be an expert. You just need to show up. Whether you've got five minutes or five hours, there's a way for you to make a difference in these kids' lives.

Big or small, it all counts:

• Lead a den meeting (we'll give you everything you need!)

• Bring snacks or supplies

• Take photos at events

• Help set up or clean up

• Share a skill you love — cooking, woodworking, first aid, you name it

Why it matters:
When parents get involved, kids notice. They see the grown-ups in their life investing in their fun and growth — and that makes Scouting even more meaningful. Plus, volunteering is a great way to get to know other pack families and be part of the memories your child will carry for years.

You don't have to do it all. You just have to do something.
