We will NEVER turn away a child because of their family's inability to pay for part of the cost of scouting. We have a scholarship program available; if receiving a scholarship can make a difference for your child being able to participate, please get in touch.

Where do Pack Dues go?
Pack dues stay 100% local to fund your Scout’s year-round experience. Things they cover include belt loops and awards, campouts and pack/den/blue and gold banquet supplies, Pinewood Derby car kits, leader registration fees, operational fees, and food.
Why is the Pack introducing a $15 Campout Fee per family?
Campouts, especially the food, are our pack's single largest expense. With popcorn sales declining over recent years, the pack has been operating at a budget deficit. While $15 per family doesn't cover the full cost of a weekend trip, it directly helps offset food expenses so we can balance our budget while continuing to offer great outdoor adventures.
Why do we sell Popcorn?
Popcorn is our single biggest fundraiser!
Teaches Scout Law and Life Skills: Scouts practice being Brave by talking to prospective customers, Friendly and Courteous when making their pitch, and Thrifty and Helpful by learning how to earn their own way in Scouting.
High Return: Our pack earns a 30–35% commission on every sale, plus hundreds of dollars in direct store-front donations.
Big Impact: Last year, just a handful of Scouts raised over $1,000 across two store-front weekends. In past years with higher participation, we’ve raised over $2,500.
Why is their pack dues in addition to council/national dues that we have to pay online:
National and Council dues go directly to Scouting America to cover liability insurance, leader background checks, youth protection resources, and maintaining regional properties (like Camp Snyder) that our pack can access for weekend family camping and summer programs. Our local pack receives $0 from those online registration fees.
Who do I give my pack dues to?
Please pay your pack dues to your den leader or our Treasurer, Katie Tapp.
